My Story - Noah Müller
"From student to AI entrepreneur"
My journey is somewhat unconventional: While studying forest science in Freiburg—my great passion—I discovered the transformative power of AI in e-commerce. At a time when artificial intelligence is revolutionizing our world, I was fascinated by the possibilities it opened up.
Although nature influenced my studies, I saw my professional future in self-employment. The question that haunted me was: How can artificial intelligence simulate real sales conversations and increase revenue? What began as a side project alongside my studies quickly developed into a second passion.
The breakthrough came when Julius from Goodbean.de provided me with his Shopify store to test. The trust he placed in me created a win-win situation: I was able to develop and improve my app on a real Shopify store, and in the best case scenario, the AI agent would sell Julius his coffee. After months of experimentation and countless night shifts, the first successful prototype of the AI agent was created, which actually generated sales. This success confirmed my vision and laid the foundation for 'The AI Agents' .

My goal is to empower every Shopify store owner to offer their customers a shopping experience that's every bit as good as, or even surpasses, brick-and-mortar. The AI agent is more than a chatbot; it's a digital sales advisor who understands, advises, and convinces.

Pilot project
"The symbiosis with Goodbean.de "
Meeting Julius from Goodbean.de was the best thing that could have happened to me. In the fall of 2024, I started cold calling with my first prototype, the AI agent. After several weeks of rejection on the phone, I called Julius, and he was immediately open to what I had to offer. We then agreed on a fair deal in a follow-up conversation. He didn't have to make any upfront payments or sign up for any subscription models, and I was allowed to test my idea in his store. Ideally, Julius would get an AI agent to sell him his coffee.
Now the foundation for the "The Ai-Agents" Shopify app was laid. At the beginning, there wasn't even a proper app. The initial launch was just a piece of code that we had to manually insert into the header in Shopify's code editor. This was so unconventional that I decided: "This needs its own Shopify app." With weekly calls on Monday mornings, we kept each other up to date. And new challenges kept arising.
This led to a recurring pattern: A new problem would arise, I would brood over a solution for days, finally find it—and a new problem would appear. Over the months, the app grew and improved until, by spring 2025, it was mature enough for "The Ai Agents" app to support new stores. The key features that had emerged were:
- Presence on every page of the store with contextual questions
- Dynamic yes/no questions to the customer to simplify navigation
- Seamless tracking of chat interactions that lead to purchase
This marked the beginning of the expansion of the "The AI Agents" Shopify app. Today, the AI agent at Goodbean.de regularly generates sales and has significantly increased the store's conversion rate. What began as a simple experiment has developed into a valuable partnership that benefits both parties.

In addition to my passion for AI and e-commerce, I enjoy going to the gym, reading a lot about scientific discoveries about humans, and experimenting with breathing techniques and methods to improve sleep. These diverse interests help me stay creative and bring new perspectives to my work.

How long does it take to integrate into my Shopify store?
Integration is quick and straightforward. After our initial consultation and analysis of your store, we can typically set up the AI chat within 24-48 hours. Installation is done via a simple code snippet that we implement for you. Customization to your brand design and training with your product information are included. After a short test phase, the chat can go live – without interrupting your daily business.
Can I customize the chat to match my brand design?
Absolutely! The AI chat is fully customizable and integrates seamlessly into your brand design. You can customize the colors, fonts, bubble shape, and all text elements. You can also choose the chat's position on the website (embedded or as a bubble). We handle the entire customization for you, so the chat feels like a natural part of your store rather than a foreign object.
How does the chat know what to say about my products?
The AI chat is specifically trained with your product information. It automatically extracts content from your product descriptions, category pages, and other relevant areas of your store. Additionally, you can provide specific information that isn't publicly available on the website. The AI also analyzes the context of each page it's used on, allowing it to respond specifically to the products displayed there. With each customer interaction, the chat becomes smarter and learns which responses are most helpful.
Does the chat also work on mobile devices?
Yes, the AI chat is fully responsive and works perfectly on all devices – from desktop computers to tablets and smartphones. For mobile devices, we offer a specially optimized version that takes up less screen space while remaining easily accessible. The design automatically adapts to the screen size, and all features are fully usable on mobile devices.
How is the increase in conversion rate measured?
We rely on transparent and verifiable measurement methods. Each customer interaction is assigned a unique ID and tracked throughout the entire purchase process. This allows us to precisely determine which chats lead to purchases. In your personal dashboard, you can view detailed statistics on interaction rates, conversion rates, and generated revenue. We also compare the conversion rates of visitors who use the chat with those who don't, to measure the direct impact. Monthly reports provide you with full transparency on performance.
What happens if a customer asks a question the chat cannot answer?
The AI chat is trained to recognize its limits. If it cannot answer a question with certainty, it will communicate this transparently and suggest alternative contact options, such as referring to your email or phone number. Optionally, the chat can also be configured to automatically notify your team for complex inquiries, allowing you to intervene personally. Every unanswered question is logged and contributes to the continuous improvement of the system.
What about data protection and GDPR compliance?
Data protection is our top priority. Our solution is fully GDPR-compliant, and all data is processed exclusively on servers within the EU. Customer data is only used for consultation and analysis purposes and is not shared with third parties. We automatically implement a data protection notice in the chat, informing visitors about data processing. Upon request, we also provide all necessary documents for your privacy policy. After the end of our collaboration, all customer data is deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
Can I remove the AI chat at any time?
Yes, the collaboration is completely flexible and without long-term contractual obligations. Since we work on a commission basis, there are no minimum terms or cancellation periods. You can pause or completely remove the chat at any time. Uninstalling is as straightforward as installing and leaves no traces in your shop code. If you wish to reactivate the service later, we can do so quickly with all previously made adjustments.
How does your offering differ from standard chatbots?
Unlike traditional chatbots, which are often limited to predefined questions and answers, our system uses advanced AI that understands context and can conduct natural conversations. The key differences lie in three areas: 1) Proactive engagement based on page context, 2) Ability to answer complex product questions and provide personalized recommendations, and 3) Full transparency of the customer journey from chat to purchase. Additionally, you only pay for actual results, not just for using the technology.
